Coach Dino Babers tossed out the ceremonial first pitch at NBT Bank Stadium last night for one of the last home stands for the Syracuse Chiefs. This year he threw out a football (a perfect spiral btw)
Week in Review: SU in the City

Coach New football coach Dino Babers and AD John Wildhack were special guests for last night’s Chiefs game. They both threw out the ceremonial first pitch. Wildhack threw a solid strike. Coach Babers, whose windup almost mimicked a young Vida Blue, went “wild thing” and threw it low and way outside. He was a good sport though and made sure to cover the plate after the passed ball. This was a great intro into the community.

Roland Grimes
Shout out to Roland “Bubba” Grimes, former SU football star, turned author , DC-area educator and media personality. We found out that his show was being broadcast tonight from the Everlasting Life Restaurant in Maryland.

This post, this final drive, and this crescendo of sound is a celebration of Syracuse University Football. This audio was captured during the final home game. SU became bowl eligible when they scored on this, their final possession of the regular season.
SU plays in the Texas Bowl on December 27, 2013 in Houston. Their opponent will be the University of Minnesota.
A Little Bit Louder Now

The Syracuse University Football Team became bowl eligible after Saturday’s final minute, 34-31 win over Boston College. The party continued when the marching band played inside Varsity Pizza.
