Syracuse Fashion Weekend: Moda International (circa 2014)
Syracuse Fashion Weekend organizers did a great job blending live music/performance with their runway event. Here Gjilberta Lucaj puts on a mini-concert with a new spin on an old classic (at the MOST).

Here’s a follow-up to the Outliers post from last month.
We are convinced that there’s always an overflow of style surrounding a fashion show runway (from Syracuse Fashion Weekend).

True front row style
News Anchor Jennifer Sanders and Common Councilor Helen Hudson showed off their sophisticated style for Syracuse Fashion Weekend at the MOST last night. Sanders served as the emcee for the event.
Before and After: Model Honey Benjamin at last year’s SFW Show
There’s plenty of fashion in the forecast in the next few days. Here are some photographs from Syracuse Fashion Weekend 2013. This year’s SFW show will be held at the MOST.
Creative director LS taught runway techniques during last year’s SFW rehearsal at the OnCenter.
Who says Syracuse isn’t a fashion destination. This year, after some delays, we finally got to experience the Syracuse Fashion Weekend Runway Show (above). There’s something about a runway show that brings out the best in the audience and the models. Street fashion coverage is good, but the experience of a big-time fashion event is just what this town needed.
Special thanks to Moda International, LSK Modeling Agency, the designers, and of course the genius collaboration known as, Lemon Elefant (sounds).
Here are some photos from the rehearsal for tonight’s SFW Fashion Show at the OnCenter.
Journalist Farah Jadran models the new chic during last night’s Syracuse Style show in Armory Square.
Syracuse Fashion Week came to a climax last night along a runway on Walton Street. The increasingly popular Syracuse Style event drew hundreds (and more if you counted those watching from local pubs and restaurants) downtown to check out the latest in what to wear. CNY Central’s Michael Benny returned as the host, but this year worked with TK99’s Lisa Chelenza. Techno background beats were provided by Tom P of Pax Effex.
This year’s event benefited the Landmark Theater.
We also found out about an event called Syracuse Fashion Weekend, ask which will take place Friday, October 11, 2013 at the OnCenter.
