Chavis & Chavis, Creole Soul
Let’s call this value added. We were impressed to see the live art fundraiser and performance by Dakaro last night, an event that benefited the Good Life Youth Foundation and the Dunbar (Center). But we were equally blown away by the tasty treats provided by Creole Soul: Their bread pudding can best be described as fluffdillyicious.
We all struggle to find good food choices, especially on the road. A special shout out to Scott and the folks at The Mustard Seed in Watertown. They provided some much needed insight and a plethora of healthy food choices during our recent trip to the North Country.

83 & Company, Green Street’s Mini Cheesecake Factory
From the outside, the renovations done at 115 Green Street are impressive. Inside there are some great things going on as well. We recently visited the property, which is home to 83 & Company (and the $7 lunch special). The food was simple, but good. The bulk of the business seems geared toward the Three C’s: Cakes, Cupcakes and Cheesecake.
The mini cheesecakes (included with lunch) are the perfect afternoon sugar fix.

Thanks to Inspiration for the Nation for inviting us to The Black Olive (now located on the Connective Corridor at West Fayette) for a mixer sponsored by the Syracuse offices of Morgan Stanley.
