She’s been called the Kevin Durant of women’s game (although Durant doesn’t have her college resume), but maybe the best way describe Breanna Stewart is passion meets talent. Before it’s said and done she will probably be the most decorated baller from this area (currently she’s a close second to Dolph Schayes).
We wonder who will design her signature shoe once she goes pro?
Former Henninger High star Marcus Douthit (left) along with former UConn Huskie Taliek Brown (right) participated in a free basketball clinic for Filipino youth in Queens on Columbus Day.
The clinic was hosted by Team FOOTPRINTZ and training pro Mark Williams.
We did some further research and found that Brown, who won a NCAA championship in 2004, almost went to SU back in the day.
Special thanks to SIF Advisory Board Member Alton Ritter for sharing this image from the clinic.
Edwin “Eddie” Moss, baller, SU alum, publisher (circa 2005)
As SU gets ready to enter the Atlantic Coast Conference this season, we remember Edwin “Eddie” Moss. Moss was a point guard for SU and ushered them into the Big East back in 1979. He later became a newspaper publisher. He’s pictured here in 2005 (the same year he passed away). May he rest in peace.

Camping Out in the Carrier Dome
Since Wednesday, hundreds of student season ticket holders have camped out inside the Dome, studying for exams, playing video games, sleeping on air matressess and waiting to participate in the spectacle.
Welcome to Game Day.
SU’s Wes Johnson: “Flying Easy”
It’s becoming clear that either from afar or close-up, this year’s Syracuse University Men’s Basketball Team looks formidable.
