Anthony Washington, artist
We first met artist Anthony Washington nearly five years ago when he was creating a mural near our studio. Since that time he has done some cool projects, moved to Colorado and recently did illustration for a children’s book. He is now back in the area and looking use his artistic skills to help beautify our cityscape.
Washington would be a great addition to a Syracuse Mural Arts team.
He is pictured here at the NYS Fair holding the book he illustrated for Jackie Grace.
The Maars post-show interview was posted and can be seen/heard here.
Maars, emerging artist
We are grateful that mixed-media artist Maars, a friend of SIF, chose to hold his one man show at our studio location last night.
An interview we did with him and photographs will appear soon. Maars’ next show will be held at Homegrown in Ithaca, New York.
