Chiefs centerfielder Rafael Bautista stole third base after doubling in the first inning of today's second contest of the double header with Rochester. Rochester won the first game today 6-2 and 10-4 the second game. After two postponed games, the swept the weekend series.

Rochester won the first game today 6-2 and the second game 10-4.  After inclement weather  postponed the first two games, Rochester swept the weekend series.

Plenty of socially conscious athletes have come through the Salt City (from Jim Brown and Oren Lyons to Melo), but one we often overlook is deserved MLB Hall of Famer Carlos Delgado, whose protest came that season he came to do a rehab stint with the  Chiefs.

Coach New football coach Dino Babers and AD John Wildhack were special guests for last night's Chiefs game. They both threw out the ceremonial first pitch. Wildhack threw a solid strike. Coach Babers, who looks like a young Vida Blue, went wild thing and threw it low and way outside. He was a good sport though and made sure to cover the plate after the passed ball.

Michael Taylor of the Chiefs walked in the bottom of the fourth inning of Thursday's double-header against Lehigh Valley. He went to third on an error and later scored a run. The Chiefs still lost 3-2.

During the bottom of the second inning Chiefs leftfielder Zach Collier hit a double at the plate (driving in two runs).

During the bottom of the second inning Chiefs leftfielder Zach Collier hit a double off the wall and drove in two runs.

Collier turned around in the top of the third inning and bounced off the wall to retrieve a hit.

Collier turned around in the top of the third inning and climbed the left field wall to to retrieve a hit. The Chiefs defeated the Rochester Red Wings 6-4.
