James Owens was presented with the 2016 Veteran of the Year award today at the Onondaga County War Memorial. He served in Vietnam from 1967-1968.

The forum marked the 110th anniversary the founding of St. Philip’s Church and 50th anniversary of its closing.
Last month, the Rev. Jennifer Baskerville-Burrows was elected 11th Bishop of the Episcopal Diocese of Indianapolis. Rev. Baskerville-Burrows is the first black, female diocesan bishop in the history of the Episcopal Church.
