Choir of the Liverpool School District

One of the great benefits of having a local pro sports franchise in your city is being exposed to lots of local talent. A choir from the Liverpool School District, including middle school student Geoffrey Race (center) and his sister Sophia, sang the National Anthem at last night’s Silver Knights game at the Onondaga County War Memorial. We’dĀ also love to see a kinetic marching band take the field for a future home game.

He mentioned that the tragedy affects the sport from the pro ranks to the recreation leagues.

During his visit to Syracuse last week Dominic Waza Scicluna, coach of Detroit Waza Flo, put on a great half time show of soccer skills. We heard he has an album coming out at the end of the week. Next time maybe he'll do a pre-game concert.
