SAS shooting guard Symir Torrence put Section III on notice as he went for 30 (9 above his season average) in the Atoms first playoff game against Oswego last night.
Torrence is a reason to keep an eye on the Atoms. He nearly amassed a triple-double (he had only 7 assists) during Friday’s 81-66 win. Up next for SAS is Indian River on Tuesday.

Swingman Charles Pride (#5) exited CBA for Liverpool, but he definitely brought his game along. During a much-hyped early season test against Bishop Ludden (Peppino’s Invitational Tournament) he dropped 20 and blocked a few shots. But Pride’s efforts weren’t enough to overcome 22 points by Mika Adams-Woods. Ludden won the game 65-50.
