The New York State Fair Gospel Choir made a joyful noise under the direction of Tyler Barnes last night. Jason Smith (far left) sang a solo. Saturday was the kick-off for Gospel Weekend at the fair.

Kathy Richau, announcer/dancer, checked for rain during the second performance by the Hot Country Liners (of Lockport) at the NYS Fair.
The Hot Country Liners Dance Team made plenty of noise, made several wardrobe changes, and drew quite a crowd (even in the rain) during yesterday’s New York State Fair. We were told that Thursday would be their only fair appearance.

The Dance Theater of Syracuse opened the Mark Wright Stage at the Pan African Village earlier today. Director Cheryl Wilkins-Mitchell explained the student performance to the audience. The group will perform again on Saturday.
