SU student Miracle Rogers performed a liturgical dance during the Martin Luther King Jr. Celebration in the Carrier Dome last night.
Coach to Keeper: Bryan O’Quinn left the field as one of the best goalies in the league. He retired to become head coach of the Knights. Yesterday marked his come-back. He recorded 17 saved and Syracuse defeated Chicago 11-2.
The goals were so plentiful in today’s Silver Knight victory over the Chicago Mustangs that even defender Darren Toby booted a score (in the first quarter).
Jessica Brown mixed in some improv vocals for the Sunday Jazz Jam (Brunch) at Funk-n-Waffles. The venue featured a few free shows today.
Kenardo Forbes was heated looked ready to take on the whole city of Chi-town after a series of rough plays at the end of the first half of today. He had to be restrained by the refs and players on the field and ended up receiving a double blue card. Forbes came back in the third quarter and scored a goal. Syracuse defeated the Mustangs 11-2.
Mike Giannattasio, Kathleen Pulito, Kemari Stewart and Michael Heagerty took a break in Clinton Square after peddling Syracuse’s favorite multicycle (The Little Yellow Fellow) along the Connective Corridor on Wednesday.
Educator Dr. Najah Salaam Jennings-Bey (above) gave a short keynote during a recent NAACP meeting. Her work encompasses educating children, engaging staff, and healing trauma for the Syracuse City School District.

Syracuse’s Mike & Mike maneuvered the Little Yellow Fellow along the Connective Corridor this afternoon. Their partners in peddling were members of the Jamaican bobsled team. The Olympic squad got a great open-air, self-propelled tour of the city that rivaled a cable car tour in San Francisco.
