Syracuse’s Carrier Dome
About a decade ago there was a big push to prepare the city (more hotel rooms) and the Dome (better press box) to host a NCAA final four. Now we have more hotels rooms, but is the Dome is ready? In the past few years, there has been another public discussion to either repair the Dome or build a new multi-sports facility.
Our question is this…as various teams and conferences around the country play college football bowl games in the next few days, when will Syracuse host a bowl contest? We’d love to see an annual bowl game featuring HBCUs (and their dazzling bands), mid-majors or even smaller colleges.
Syracuse provides world-class shopping. There is free bus service from most hotels in the city to the steps of the Dome, and in the past few years we’ve even had great weather in late December.
This would be a great precursor to a Final Four award from the NCAA. Bring on the Wegmans Bowl.
What’s the hold up?

CBA swingman Charles Pride is an expert at slashing to the hoop. He had 16 points last night in a win against Jameville-Dewitt.
Christian Brother’s Academy will play host to Westhill tonight in the final of the Bottar Leone Holiday Classic tonight.
Ryan Roland of Westhill will look to fill it up from the three point line against CBA tonight. Roland scored 20 points, viagra including three 3’s, to help his team down Henninger last night.
