By 5:30 pm the temperature dipped to single digits and wind chills made things worse, ailment students were packing up their tents and leaving Boeheimburg. They will return to line up again on Friday, but then they will be inside the temperature-controlled Carrier Dome. A record crowd is expected for the SU v. Duke game on Saturday.

Lavell Crawford, comic
Fresh off a recent appearance on The Nightly Show with Larry Wilmore, comic Lavell Crawford showed up to SU looking like a college professor. But he quickly reminded everyone of what he came to do by riffing on subjects such as fat people falling in the snow, Halloween in different neighborhoods, and how his mother often made threats as a ventriloquist.
The question we want to know is does Crawford have a line of t-shirts with his catch phrase, “Two Chops to the Throat?”

If you are one of those people who says there is nothing going on in Syracuse…we simply are not going to listen to you any more. Period.
Here was one of our favorite scenes from Phi Beta Sigma, Inc.’s Saturday Night Live: Showcase featuring the soulful and jaunty violinist Damien Escobar. His layered riffs definitely excited the crowd on this cover of a Michael Jackson classic.
