We didn’t think DestiNY could top the musical performance we saw a few months ago, but we were wrong. Alisa Parmenter of ECG Promotions coordinated a fashion show/runway event at DestiNY USA last night that featured What You See is What You Wear, or every day fashion items (found in the mall).

The show was held in the mall’s spacious canyon area and drew a crowd that included shoppers, journalists, politicians and local executives.

Putting our Best Fashion Forward

Radio personality George Kilpatrick and PR consultant Alisa Parmenter at Destiny USA's Canyon (following the fashion show)

Radio personality George Kilpatrick and PR consultant Alisa Parmenter meet at Destiny USA’s Canyon looking their best (following the fashion show).

The city is amped-up for the first “big time” ACC game (SU plays North Carolina tomorrow) and the mall was buzzing a Dick Vitale sightings.  Great match-ups may just be a cure to the winter blues.

ECG Promotions even staged a fashion show at DestiNY’s Canyon tonight.

Let’s play a big time school every weekend…or find a way to move the mall closer to campus. Wait, isn’t this another reason to re-start OnTrack service?
