Malik Zachary (pictured) and West Genesee went through the highs and lows of being a top team this week. They lost to Liverpool at the buzzer and also beat Bishop Kearney at the buzzer.

OCC forward Morgan Deland had 12 points and 9 boards

The SUNY OCC Lady Lazers continue to impress. They feature a stifling 3/4 court press and quickly move the ball with a UCLA/flex -type offense. The stat from last night’s game that stood out, however was that the three players pictured out scored the entire SUNY Broome Community College squad 42-38.

The final score was OCC 81 and Broome 38.

The team is now 21-3 overall, and undefeated in conference play. Their next game is against Jefferson Community  College.

Shemere Elliot went 7 for 7 from the field last night and scored 16 points.

Former Henninger coach Erik Saroney won over 200 games in Section III, including multiple championships. He has put together a great inaugural season on the other Hill behind an uptempo, pressing style that has become a trademark of his former clubs.

Behind local standouts such as Tyler Sullivan, James Walker and Quantae Elijah, OCC is now 20-6 overall and 6-2 in conference.  They defeated SUNY Broome Community College last night 111-65. Their next game is against Jefferson Community College on Friday.

Despite not starting and playing limited minutes, Nahjeir Johnson put up a game-high 21 points, including a game-wining fade away jumper in Liverpool's 58-57 victory over West Genesee.

Coach to Keeper: Bryan O'Quinn left the field as one of the best goalies in the league. He retired to become head coach of the Knights. Yesterday marked his come-back. He recorded 17  saved and Syracuse defeated Chicago 11-2.

Don’t Mess With Syracuse

Kenardo Forbes was looked ready to take on the whole city o f Chitown after a series of rough plays at the end of the first half of today's game. He ended up receiving a double blue card and penalized. He came back in the third quarter and scored a goal.

Kenardo Forbes was heated looked ready to take on the whole city of Chi-town after a series of rough plays at the end of the first half of today. He had to be restrained by the refs and players on the field and ended up receiving a double blue card. Forbes came back in the third quarter and scored a goal. Syracuse defeated the Mustangs 11-2.

TFC added Syracuse defender/midfielder Oyvind Alseth with the 21st pick of the third round. The six-foot Norwegian captained the Orange in his senior year, starting all 20 matches and recording four assists.
