Songwriter, producerĀ and multi-instrumentalist Stephen Wise seems to have made a real connection with the fans here in Syracuse. He made a return last night to play a show at Munjed’s. He played flute, alto and soprano sax, sang, and even gave a short clinic on circular breathing and the didgeridoo. Wise told the crowd that he will soon be leaving his base in Philadelphia for new horizons in Jamaica.

Ricky Encarnacion played with Heaven Report at the 2011 Northeast Jazz & Wine Festival (Clinton Square).
We heard this week that the Northeast Jazz & Wine Festival, which is schedule for late July, will once again expand to Sunday afternoon. We saw Ricky Encarnacion the last time the festival extended to three days. What a treat.
