Larry, Paul, Issac, Reggie & Eddie. These principals from JAMS put together a great concert at the @nysfair2017 on Saturday night. The stage was Empire Experience stage was in a remote location, but the sound was great (big up to the engineers) and the @steve_arrington set was maybe the best show we saw all summer. Even a rain shower couldn't quench the fire the Minister of Funk (and voice of Slave) created on that far western part of the fairgrounds. The sound carried up to the parking lot near gate four ("slide, slide"). We heard someone say the bass was a touch loud, but that is never true in a funk universe. Our wish list goes goes something like this: 1) We hope Steve's band gets their lost luggage before the next gig; 2) JAMS needs to bring @parliamentfunkadelic or @mazefeaturingfrankiebeverly to the fair next year, and 3) that stage need to be closer to a gate. #thingstodoinsyracuse #bestshowofthesummer #bestofthefair #jamsfunkfest2017 #siberianstage #verygoodsoundquality #mtrushmoreofcusemusic #summermusicfestivals #justatouchofthefunkallthetimekeepsmehighallthetime #thegreatnewyorkstatefair #alilraincantstopthestank @mr.leepaul15
