On the road

(Views of the Bay Bridge)

I visited California again in April and got the chance to take some photos of the Bay Bridge.  This was my subject because of the bridge's proximity to where I was staying, and because I found out that the Bay Bridge, although overshadowed by it's more famous counterpart (the Golden Gate), is the area's most traveled.

When taking these photos I was also reminded of the words of Duke Ellington, who wrote: "What would San Francisco be without Oakland?"

This is part of a larger project examining modes of transportation.
