Who

Pro Soccer comes to Syracuse
The
Salty Dogs inaugural season was as much fun as it was a
struggle as Syracuse finally
fielded a professional
football
(aka soccer) club.
Despite
the team's less than .500 record however, the Dogs
consistently drew a few thousand fans per game. Equally
impressive was the team's marketing strategies to make their
games a favorite destination throughout the summer.
I
covered the home games (held at Liverpool High School and
P&C Stadium) for Syracuse in focus (photo agency)
and the Soul of Syracuse.
Many
of the game photos published on the aforementioned
sites were also used for the team's player cards, so here I'll focus on
what I saw beyond the game action.
This
project was made possible thanks to
a generous contribution from the camera department of RaLins
Discount.
