27 JAN 2001-- Our first series this year is from a fundraiser for Beyond Boundaries (BB) and their Awareness Project.  This spring BB members will travel to Charleston, Savannah & the Gullah Island of St. Helena. 

The event, which was held at the Southwest Community Center, featured chants, belly dancing, West African drumming as well as Haudenosaunee social singing and much more.

BB is a grassroots organization based in Syracuse. They encourage cultural exchange by selecting projects in local, national and international communities.
