THE  MIRACLE OF LIFE

"Mankind is so absorbed in life's pleasures and pains that a man has hardly a moment to think of what a privilege it is to be human."

-Hazrat Inayat Khan

Pictured at left  my sister-in-law Odetta Norton shares the joys and pains of labor as she comforts my wife (and her sister) Dana Baker during her 30-hour journey toward motherhood.

Our daughter Chenoa Elise Baker was born July 11, 2000, at St. Joseph's Hospital in Syracuse at 6:08 p.m.

She came to us 3 weeks early and weighed 5 pounds, 13 ounces.

The pregnancy, labor and delivery showed us the miracle of life and certainly reminded us why it's such a privilege to be human.

We'd like to thank our family, friends and the staff of St. Joseph's Hospital and Dr. John Rosser's office for their kind support and guidance during this experience.
