MD Ski Express and the Black Ski Weekend visits Syracuse
(photos from the Will Downing concert )
M.D. SKI EXPRESS was founded as a ski club with the premise to introduce the African American professional to the sport of snow skiing. This year the group returned to Syracuse with nearly a dozen buses that brought folks to Syracuse from places such as Philadelphia, Baltimore, Washington, DC, Atlanta and Connecticut.
This year's show featured Will Downing at the Landmark Theater on South Salina Street. But while Downing messaged the crowd with his mellow grooves, it was Baltimore-based Spur of the Moment, and their blend of funk-inspired jazz, who were clearly the crowd favorite.(CLICK THE PHOTO TO CONTINUE)
