"Honoring the victims of Terrorism"

Thomas P. Sullivan, a 50-something activist,  educator and descendant of the Mohawk Nation, holds the symbolic Tree of Peace during a larger ceremony to remember victims of the 9/11/01 terrorist attacks. Sullivan commented that Mohawk descendants helped construct the former towers the World Trade Center that were destroyed. Pictured on the Tree of Peace are individuals whom he said were murdered by local terrorists.
